Where to ask questions, report a problem, suggest an idea, or report a security issue.

Ask a question

The community forum is the best place: questions and answers stay findable for the next person. Search first; someone may have asked already.

For a quick chat, there's the Coffey Labs Discord.

Report a problem

Open an issue at git.coffeylabs.org/coffey-labs/hotdog-cms/issues. The more of this you include, the faster it's fixed:

  1. what you did, step by step;
  2. what you expected, and what happened instead;
  3. the exact message, copied as text;
  4. the output of hotdog-cms version, and your system (Windows, macOS or Linux, and which version).

Leave out anything private: passwords, tokens, your server's name.

Suggest an idea

Ideas are welcome in the forum, where others can add to them. Say what you were trying to do, not only the feature you have in mind: there may be a way already, or a better shape for it.

Report a security problem

Please don't post it in public. Email security@coffeylabs.org, as HotDog's security policy asks.
